“In the past year I had begun getting disruptive headaches after work and bumping into things more often on my right side (my lazy eye side from before childhood surgeries). Thanks to VT, both symptoms are gone and my weaker eye has even gotten strong enough to not need a +0.5 magnification to work comfortably at a computer screen – it’s stronger than my good eye was when I started! On its own that was already a success but as my eyes got stronger, I began experiencing exhilarating periods of stereopsis in-clinic for the first time in 25 years. After more exercises I can now experience peripheral stereopsis on command using take-home supplies.

Almost every week of vision therapy was a new milestone of progress on one or more exercises and the time really flew by. Now I have a far better understanding of my own vision system, an awareness of how my eyes are focusing, and the skills and exercises to coax them back to good habits and continue developing my accommodation strength and proper convergence. I’m excited to continue my post-graduation homework and see what continuing progress I can achieve. I trust Eden and Dr Logan to consult and help if I experience any new vision issues with age, but more than that, they’ve prepared me to take care of myself.”

“Anders (8) enjoyed coming to his vision therapy appointments. He didn’t always like having to do homework, but came to appreciate the fact that it was making his eyes stronger and work better. His reading fluency increased and he showed less eye fatigue at the end of busy days. He even got his prescription on his lenses lowered a bit. Thanks for making therapy fun!”

“I used to see two of everything, and it made reading harder and more tiring. Working with Dr. Logan and Miss Eden helped me learn how to use my eyes together. After playing fun games and doing the activities in class and at home, I learned to stop seeing double. Now reading and school are easier and I know how to keep my eyes working together.”

“Before starting vision therapy, I suffered from chronic headaches about 4–5 times per week. In the last several years, I have seen a few doctors about the headaches, but no one could tell me why I was getting them or how to treat them. During an evaluation Dr. Lineberry noticed I was struggling with convergence insufficiency. We worked together to determine a plan for vision therapy which included various exercises that I performed 3–4 times per week at home. Right away, I noticed a difference in my vision. After about 2 months of doing the exercises at home, my headache days were down to 1 per month. My quality of life is so much better. Thank you to Dr. Lineberry for listening to me and working with me!”
