At Cary Vision Therapy and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation we individualize each program to the patient. Every individual’s visual system is unique to them. Our therapy is tailored specifically to the patient’s visual needs and goals.
Our Vision Therapy sessions are 45 minute sessions working one on one with a therapist. Sessions are conducted on a weekly basis in the office. Our therapy sessions are active sessions that encourage movement to activate the patient’s vestibular and proprioceptive systems to fully integrate with the visual system. The therapists work alongside with Dr. Logan Lineberry to design a program specifically for the patient’s best treatment and overall progress.
Most patients are in a Vision Therapy program for 6-12 months. Some patients may be in therapy longer depending on complexity and commitment.
The brain has the ability to learn new things but the process of integrating new neural connections takes time. We are building a visual pyramid. The foundation of the pyramid cannot be rushed. If there are cracks in our foundation then the structure of our pyramid will be compromised. Our goal is to reach that visual peak with no cracks in our system.
Our program is designed for life. It is not a quick fix. Invest in your visual development for your highest quality of life.
The most successful Vision Therapy patients are the ones that are engaged in both in office and home therapy. Our in office sessions are meant to teach a patient a visual skill and at home the patient learns to master that skill.
