A Visual Information Processing Evaluation is a visual perceptual test to evaluate how well the visual system processes and integrates information. This evaluation assesses all visual skills including motor, language, social, adaptive, and/or cognitive functioning by standardized developmental instruments with interpretation and report. This evaluation allows us to have a baseline of visual processing before starting Vision Therapy and track progress throughout the program. A report will be generated and discussed at the consultation.
Visual Information Processing Evaluation Consultation
A consultation is scheduled after the VIPE on a separate day to discuss the results and create a treatment plan. A report will be generated and reviewed in depth with the patient and parents, guardian, spouse, etc. Expectations for therapy will be discussed and a treatment plan will be created.
