Cary Vision Therapy and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation is an out-of-network provider for all insurance plans. We do not submit claims for any Vision Therapy services.
Insurance coverage and Vision Therapy
Coverage for Vision Therapy services is varied and depends on your individual insurance policy. Most insurance policies do not provide coverage for Vision Therapy. It is the patient’s responsibility to determine what coverage is available according to their policy. Vision Therapy may be covered under a patient’s medical insurance. It is the patient’s responsibility to check insurance coverage for Vision Therapy before submitting claims.
Submitting Insurance Claims
It is the patient’s responsibility to submit any insurance claims. We will provide an invoice of services for the patient to submit on their own to their insurance company. The invoice will include diagnosis and procedure codes needed to submit a claim. Each insurance company has a unique process for claim submission and it is the patient’s responsibility to ask about your claim process.
